Well, for me it pretty much is, but when Football isn't on it's not like I'm going to start watching the WNBA. So being that the MLB All Star game is on tonight, I'm watching - sort of. Here's a quick recap through the middle of the 9th: Overpaid and largely out of shape players half-assing it through the game.....numerous strikes, and I'm assuming there have been less balls thrown (going out on a limb there)....home run by Matt Holliday of the Colorado Over Rateds....American League attempting to steal bases like the NL has a Little Leaguer behind the plate...American League succeeding like there is in fact a Little Leaguer behind the plate....more strikes and balls....did I just see Jeter removed from the game without a pitching change or any other game stoppage??....I did (What a joke. Next year players will be able to just throw the ball at a runner to get an out like 8-year-olds do with a tennis ball)....flipping through channels hoping for NFL Replay games.....damn, none on.....umm....dozing.....and that's pretty much it. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that this game has cemented my extreme dislike for Yankee fans. Not only have they booed Jonathan Papelbon for giving up a run, bless him, but they also started chanting "Let's go Yankees!" when Mo Rivera came in. Guess they didn't notice this isn't a Yankees game and there are actually players and teams outside of New York on the field and in the league. Not exactly atypical behavior in Yankee Stadium, though. Maybe it's just me. Perhaps Southern California is actually a borough of New York. Yep, that must be it. I've been the idiot all along. Haha....stupid me.
As you can tell I'm none too thrilled with beez-bowl (or the Yankees), as Mr. Sosa used to say. How many more minutes until the Bolts hit the field?
